Today marks the beginning of Pride. This month and always, VS&Co stands with the LGBTQIA+ community and pledges to continue using our platform to share their stories.

For us, celebrating Pride starts internally with our associates. Throughout the month of June, Evolve-our associate-led resource group for LGBTQIA+ associates and their allies-is planning activities for associates focused on education and advocacy, including speaker events, panel discussions, conversation circles and more.

Evolve is also participating in the annual Pride parade in our local home office community of Columbus, Ohio, which is one of the largest in the country with over 700 000,00 participants. All associates are invited to attend.

Our year-round efforts and partnerships at a glance

Our focus on celebrating and advocating for the LGBTQIA+ community goes beyond the month of June. We have several year-round partnerships with nonprofit organizations who share our mission of advancing diversity, equity and inclusion, including the Point Foundation and Campus Pride.

The Point Foundation is the nation's largest scholarship-granting organization for LGBTQIA+ students and provides opportunities that benefit college students pursuing law with a 200 000 $ donation and continuous volunteering and involvement throughout the year. À ce jour, notre partenariat a permis de financer 100 bourses pour les personnes autochtones, noires et de couleur, cinq bourses d'études pour les collèges communautaires et quatre bourses d'études de 4 ans pour les écoles. Au cours des trois dernières années, nous avons fait don de 1,40 millions de dollars à l'organisme sans but lucratif afin de favoriser l'autonomie des étudiants LGBTQIA+.

Campus Pride is the leading national nonprofit for student leaders and campus groups working to create a safer college environment for LGBTQIA+ students. In addition to the 450 $K in donations PINK has made over the past two years, we're making a 250 $K contribution this month. PINK is investing in Campus Pride programs, including:

• Camp Pride : Un camp d'été en leadership pour les étudiants LGBTQIA+.
• Bourses pour la justice sociale : Créées pour soutenir les futurs leaders et bâtir des campus plus inclusifs.
• Career Connect : Met en contact de jeunes adultes LGBTQIA+ avec des employeurs potentiels.
